We understand the desire for more spaces that could be separated from others. The layout of our library makes this difficult, with sound travelling easily between the first and second floors. However, we do want to share with you some spaces that can be closed off and can comfortably seat four or more people: the 2nd-floor instruction room (213), the 2nd-floor Goldsmith Room (208), the first-floor Davis Study Room (108), and the first-floor classroom inside the CLE. You can also consider our new ground floor corner space, beyond the periodical and government document shelves. It’s not closed off, but because the ground floor has so few users, you can feel comfortable talking with your group in that space as well.
