    "Academic research is harder since most books I've found at the library are out of date and not helpful. I have to always use InterLibrary Loan to gain what I need."

    Sorry to hear we haven’t had the books you needed for your research. That’s why we have Interlibrary Loan, and I’m glad to hear that you’re using ILL. If possible, please do also let us know if there’s a field for which we are lacking current and useful books. We aim to provide a collection that matches the Hollins curriculum, and if we are lacking in an area, we want to know. Contact your subject librarian (http://presslib.hollins.edu/librarians-by-subject/) to let us know what we need to add.
